Sesson Report, June 28, 2008

Dear Friends,
We are not trying to compete by holding our session at the same time as other events. We have made a commitment to the 4th Saturday of the month, and we have our session posted on the web, and in publications like the FolkNik. We have had people drop in from as far away as San Diego, and so Jaya and I feel that whatever else is going on, we need to hold our session as planned (unless we're away at Lark Camp!) SO, although we'd love to see you here, we understand there are a lot of other draws in the summertime. And although we'd love to come to your house, we're committed to stay here and host a session every fourth Saturday.

Sharon Carl

We had a great sesson today!
Attending were: Randy on guitar, Scott on mandolin and whistle, Fred on concertina, whistle, vocals and bodhran, Allan on mandolin, guitar and vocals, Brian on fiddle and accordion, Janet on hammered dulcimer, Vonne on fiddle and guitar, Steve on bazouki, Jon on mandolin, Suzanne on bodhran, Jaya on whistle and bodhran and Sharon on fiddle and vocals.

Jaya barbecued chicken, chiles and tofu. There was fruit salad, chicken salad, curried rice, cheese and crackers and wine.

We played and ate and played some more. I was having too much fun to write down any tunes! Join us next time!
